IMSE Morphology Orton-Gillingham Training (24 hours)
The Morphology training is a continuum for individuals who have taken the Comprehensive course. This course is only available through on-site staff development. This course begins with a review of the Comprehensive encoding/decoding and looks at how to transition students from phonemes/graphemes to morphemes. This course offers a deeper focus on spelling rules and patterns for older students. Participants will also learn how to teach affixes, Greek, and Latin bases, vocabulary, and writing/grammar. This approach can be incorporated into an already existing literacy program.
The Morphology is primarily geared towards upper elementary aged students and/or students who already have a basic understanding of phonological awareness, phonics, and basic literacy skills. This course is applicable for all three tiers of RTI. Therefore, the course is for:
Grades 3-6 General Education
3-12 Special Education, Remedial, and English Language Learners
Speech Language Therapist who want to continue their knowledge in literacy

Pay by check/purchase order options are available, and will hold your seat to allow time for processing. Registrations are not confirmed until the payment or purchase order is received.
If you cancel prior to the start date of your training, you will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. If you cancel 14 days or less prior to the start date of your training, you will be charged a $100 fee.
There is no fee for transferring your registration to another training if you transfer before 14 days prior to a training. If you transfer your training 14 days or less prior to the start date of your training, you will be charged a $100 fee.
The Institute for Multi-Sensory Education reserves the right to cancel. If IMSE must cancel, 100% of the training fee will be refunded.
